I did wander upstairs to the antique shop where things cost more than a dollar and couldn't believe all the great stuff up there. It's worth a look even if you aren't buying... just to see some of the old antique memorabilia that they have.
True to the name, everything in this store is a dollar. I love going in this store because I can get small items that usually cost 2-3 dollars at some of the bigger stores and even more at convenience stores. And the staff is about as courteous as you could ever hope to meet!!
